Paradise Lounge, located at 1501 Folsom Street in San Francisco’s South of Market (SoMa) district, was a vibrant music venue known for its eclectic performances and significant role in the local music scene. Operating primarily during the 1990s and early 2000s, it featured three stages and hosted a diverse array of artists, including early performances by bands like Green Day and System of a Down. Despite its popularity, the venue eventually closed, and in 2015, plans were announced to transform the space into a restaurant and live salsa music venue called Calle 11.
